The Mustang GT has had a 5.0 liter engine in its bay for almost 30 years. It was only in 1996 that Ford went with the 4.6L engine. The Ford Fiesta has not been available in American since 1976. This ultra-practical and somewhat boring little vehicle was underappreciated here and therefore discontinued. Ford did find success with the Fiesta in Europe where new models have been rolling off of the assembly line for over 3 decades.
